Life Cycle Assessment
A product Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) is a method used to measure the full environmental impact of a product, from "cradle to grave." These complex sets of data are analyzed and applied in accordance with ISO 14040 Series and the final LCA is then third-party certified against ISO14040.
Formica Corporation continually works with suppliers to increase the recycled and eco-friendly content in our raw materials as we develop strategies that reduce the environmental impact of our products and their manufacture.

SCS Indoor Advantage Gold Certificate
Wilsonart meets all the necessary qualifications for laminate to be Indoor Air Quality Certified to SCS-EC10.2-2007 and conforms to the ANSI/BIFMA Furniture Emissions Standard.
SCS Recycled Content – High Pressure Decorative Laminate
An independent assessment earned Wilsonart SCS certification for a minimum 34% Post-consumer Recycled Wood Fiber Content and conforming to the SCS Recycled Content Standard V6 -0 for: Laminate, High Pressure Decorative Laminate, Type: 335 and Recover™
Wilsonart was the first North American laminate manufacturer to achieve Forest Stewardship Council® Chain of Custody Certification, providing thousands of SKUs of FSC® Mix Credit Certified HPL.
Credits may be obtained with Wilsonart Laminate for MR4 Recycled Content Types 335, 350, 376, 107, 203, 207, 202, 220, 230.
